Ms. Black

Hello! 

I am excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade science this year!  This will be my third year in DVUSD, and my seventh year as a teacher. 

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from Greenway High School.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!) and completed the education program at Rio Salado College to obtain my teaching certificate.

In my free time I love to have fun outside hiking, kayaking, and going on adventures!  I am married and my husband and I enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors together.  When I'm not out exploring, I like to spend time with my family, play with my cats, and read (my favorite genres are mystery and science fiction!).
