About the Teacher

Hello!

I am excited about starting my first year at Highland Lakes! I am a certified K-8 educator that has worked with many different grade levels through the years. I am a proud military spouse and our adventures have taken us to Nevada (twice), Japan, Florida, Virginia, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia. We are now back in Arizona as we prepare to retire from Active Duty status and settle here permanently. I am looking forward to making Highland Lakes my permanent school home.

When I am not teaching, you can find me at home with my family! I have an amazing husband and two wonderful kids. My oldest will be starting her sophomore year at Deer Valley High School and my youngest will be in 6th grade here at Highland Lakes. We also have two crazy Boston Terriers that keep us entertained with their antics. 

I am looking forward to working together with all my students and their families to have a wonderful school year!
