Meet Mrs. Bervin

Welcome to Kindergarten

Hello! My name is Betsy Bervin, and I am excited to be a part of your child's Kindergarten journey and to join the amazing Kindergarten team at Highland Lakes!

I have lived in Arizona since 6th grade and am actually a DVUSD alumna! I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and later earned my Early Childhood endorsement. I spent 15 years teaching in DVUSD, where I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade.

After taking a break to stay home with my young kiddos, I am excited to be returning to Kindergarten! I have already enjoyed being a part of the Highland Lakes community as a member of the PTSO and as a substitute teacher.
