This class is designed to prepare students for high school level mathematics classes. Students will explore various mathematical concepts, with an emphasis in geometry and algebra. This will include transformations, similar and congruent figures, laws of exponents, operations of scientific notation, solving equations, linear functions, and 3D figures. This class will also incorporate problem solving to demonstrate how the math taught in class is used in the real world.
