A little bit about me...
I am a graduate of Deer Valley High School; I attended Sunrise Elementary in Kindergarten and 1st grade, Bellair Elementary 2nd-6th grade, Desert Sky Junior High 7th and 8th grade.
This will be my 25th year of teaching; of those, 24 have been at the 7th/8th-grade level. I have been at Highland Lakes 22 of those 25 years.
I have 2 boys. Carson just finished his freshman year at NAU and is studying mechanical engineering and design. Caden is in 8th grade here at Highland Lakes. I have been married for 26 years; my husband is a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. We also have 3 dogs, Ginger (beagle/terrier mix), Sadie (wire-haired terrier mix), and Ahsoka (golden retriever). In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, learning about ways to incorporate technology as a tool in my classroom, playing video games, serving at our church in the nursery, completing puzzles, creating diamond art, and learning ways to reduce the chemicals and toxins we use in our household.

- Favorite places to go on vacation = Disneyland, California, Nebraska, and historical sites around the United States
- Favorite type of music = I prefer Christian or music of the 80s and 90s.
