Mrs. Martin has been teaching in the Renaissance Academy at Highland Lakes since 2020. She lives here in Glendale with her husband, kids and dog, Luke Skybarker. She has 2 children who are excelling in the Renaissance Academy at Highland Lakes and each began in Bright Beginnings Kindergarten. Mrs. Martin was born, grew up, graduated from college, married her husband and began her teaching career; all in California. They moved to Arizona in 2010 and have since had their 3 babies and settled in Glendale. As a family, they love exploring, creating, camping, watching the Phoenix Suns and spending time with friends and family. 

Mrs. Martin is thrilled to meet, teach and learn from my incredible incoming 1st graders!

Amazon Classroom wishlist - Some ideas of things that would be great for gifted minds both in the classroom or at home! Anything purchased for the classroom would be so generous! 

We also would love any gently used books, legos, games, puzzles, cards etc that help with critical thinking or problem solving! 

I would love parent volunteers in the classroom. There is a district training requirement to do this. I will also have other ways parents can help outside the classroom. If you have any ideas, please let me know!
