Hello students and parents!
My name is Jenny Elam and I am the 5th grade Renaissance teacher for this school year. I am very excited to be working with your child and family this school year.
I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in the Pendergast District, Peoria District, and Deer Valley District. I received my teaching degree from Grand Canyon University and went on to earn my Masters degree from NAU.
My husband and I have 3 wonderful children - Taylor, Jaidyn, and Cade. We all enjoy spending our time outdoors - at the lake, in the forest, fishing, kayaking, boating and off-roading. We have three very energetic dogs - Bailey (Chocolate Lab), Lucy (Bulldog/Lab mix), and Milo (Chocolate Lab).
My expectations for students are high. We will problem-solve, explore, and create things together. While we are working together, communication is of the utmost importance. Please feel free to email me at jennifer.elam@dvusd.org.
